Just a reminder about this Friday's upcoming benefit:

When: Friday December 14th, 9pm
Where: Mike's Place, 2nd floor of the Unicenter at Carleton University
Featuring members of 'Godspeed You Black Emperor,' 'Rhythm Activism'
and 'Da Zoque' in BAKUNIN'S BUM and 1-SPEED BIKE!
The 'Ottawa Coalition Against the Tories' (OCAT) cordially invites
you to come out and enjoy a fun cabaret night of videos, instrumental
music, spoken word, dance beats and local guest speakers!
Opening the evening with Dan Roy's cutting edge and provocative
video, 'Barricade No. 9' and Montréal's legendary BAKUNIN'S BUM! A duo
of beatmeister 1-SPEED BIKE (also from godspeed you black emperor! and
Exhaust), and violinist/viola/cello/poet nerd Norman Nawrocki (from
Rhythm Activism and Da Zoque!)! A versatile cabaret artist, Norman
Nawrocki has just finished another cross-Canada tour of his solo
show, 'SEX TOYS!'
Support the launch of their first CD, 'FIGHT TO WIN!' on Friday
December 14th. This CD is a beat-rich, benefit project for OCAP, and
provides an incendiary, reflective and danceable musical documentary
of OCAP's work and ideas.
Suggested Donation of $5, proceeds will go to OCAT and OCAP.
