[OPIRG-EVENTS] G7/G8 Teach-In - Thursday, Feb. 7

"Don't cry for me, Argentina"
(insert caricature here -- "fat cat" banker in top hat with big cigar)

The Finance Ministers and central bankers of the seven richest
countries in the world (the G7 -- the G8 minus Russia) are meeting in
Ottawa on February 8 & 9, 2002.

Why do they insist on enforcing policies that cause so much pain for
so many people? How can we stop them? What are the alternatives?

Learn how these policies affect people all over the world, and learn
how they affect you. Bring your own ideas for change.
