A bit about the film:

Produced by the National Film Board of Canada, Marilyn Waring "challenges the 
myths of economics, its elitist stance, and our tacit compliance with 
political agendas that masquerade as objective economic policy" She speaks on 
how work is evaluated and valued, how the current system of national accounts 
for all UN countries was developed and the implications of such as system 
including how it registers war and environmental disasters.

A bit about Ms Waring:

Ms Waring was elected to the New Zealand parliament for three terms as the MP 
for her rural community of local farmers; elected the first time at only 22.  
Instead of returning to a career of classical music as she had hoped, she 
remained a controversial trail blazer bringing down her own government over 
the issue of a Nuclear Free New Zealand.
