On March 18, Safiya is appealing a death-by-stoning sentence for having a
child out of wedlock.  Canada is committed to fostering improved human
rights in Nigeria, and has signed an expanded trade agreement to this
effect, yet amputations, floggings and stonings continue.  

Can we turn a blind eye to this?
