[OPIRG-EVENTS] keep noncorporate radio on CHUO

The 2002 Funding Drive of CHUO-FM89, the University of Ottawa's bilingual,
non-commercial radio station IS NOW ON, and runs until March 24. Money
raised allows CHUO, a non-profit, community supported organization to
continue broadcasting.

YOU CAN SUPPORT "CLICK HERE" AND "DEMOCKERY'S DEMIZE", SHOWS WHICH
REGULARLY ANNOUNCE EVENTS POSTED ON THIS LISTSERV, AND REGULARLY INTERVIEW
PEOPLE CONNECTED WITH THESE EVENTS, IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER:

Make an advance pledge by emailing the show you wish to support with the
following information:
     1. Your name
     2. A mailing address
     3. A phone number
     4. The amount you wish to pledge

Our email addresses are:
(Mitchell Caplan) s376764@aix2.uottawa.ca
(Faruq Faisel) ffaisel@web.net

"Demockery's Demize"
(Louis Lang) llang@travel-net.com

Your pledge ensures that CHUO-FM will continue to stay on the air, and it
lets that station know that you support radio that covers activist issues.

IN RETURN FOR YOUR DONATION, you may choose between coming into the
station and picking up a giveaway of equivalent value to the donation, or
receiving a tax receipt. If you are interested in a giveaway, let us know.

You will receive a form in the mail to pay your pledge.

Thank you for your support and for the statement it makes about
alternative media.

Sincerely,
