Profit is Not the Cure

This is a critical year for the future of medicare.

Maude Barlow, Chair of the Council of Canadians, is in Ottawa on April 4th
to talk about health care. She's just released a report called "Profit is
Not the Cure" which looks at how we can both defend AND improve our most
cherished social program.


Maude Barlow will be speaking on Thursday, April 4th at 7:30 pm at St. John
the Evangelist Anglican Church, 154 Somerset St. West, corner of Elgin.
She'll be joined by Kathleen Connors, Canadian Federation of Nurses Unions.
Doors open at 7:00 pm. Admission is free of charge and no tickets are
required.
