So sorry for the confusion. The Women Against the Occupation Demo has been 
postponed to this Thursday, April 11th. Please note that the location has 
changed too. The rally will be held on Parliament Hill. For details, read 
below:

A Women’s Demonstration

Thursday, April 11, 2002

12:00 – 2:00 p.m.

Place : Parliament Hill


In solidarity with the Palestinian people

Immediate End to Israeli Occupation
Stop human rights violations

We call upon all women in Canada to join us in solidarity with the Palestinian 
people. We call on the Government of Canada to respond to Israel’s continuing 
non-compliance with the rule of Law by joining the international community in 
the censure and sanction of the illegal Israeli occupation and colonization of 
the West Bank and Gaza Strip and East Jerusalem.



a.. Put an immediate end to Palestinian suffering.


b.. Stop the terror against Palestinian women, children and men.


c.. Demand an immediate withdrawal of Israeli occupying forces from the 
occupied territories.


d.. Pressure the Israeli government to abide by international law.


e.. Send an international peace keeping force to the occupied territories.


f.. Send a Canadian delegation to monitor Israeli violations of human rights.
