[OPIRG-EVENTS] Anti-corporate Globalization Outreach Group Meeting April 23

The Outreach group was formed last year in the lead-up to the Summit of
the
Americas protest in Quebec City. Over the past year, we have worked on a

number of projects including:
* pamphlets against the FTAA,  G20/IMF/World Bank, and G7/G8
* postering
* panel discussions
* information sessions
* a benefit concert
* talks to high-school classes
We have also worked closely with Global Democracy Ottawa on the
[ftaaott] listserve,
web site and phone line. At our next meeting, we will be making plans
for
our information campaign leading up the G8 summit in June.

If these or similar projects appeal to you, come to our next meeting.
