[OPIRG-EVENTS] Can Banks and Corporations be Ethical?

There is hardly a better person in the country to answer that question
than Coro Strandberg, former Chairperson and Director of Vancity Bank
and a chief policy advisor to the B.C. government. She was also a
Trustee of Ethical Funds Inc. for several years.

Ms. Strandberg will speak on corporate social responsibility and SRI on
Thursday, April 25th at 7 p.m. at 900-275 Slater Street, the Dare
Corporate Centre, as keynote at the spring meeting of Capital SRI
ethical investment group.

The model SRI portfolio and a steering committee for 2002-2003 will also
be approved at the meeting.

The meeting is open to all but those intending to come are requested to
please email or telephone (819-684-7770) in advance to have your name
given to the night watchman.
