The next community meeting with the Major Events Liaison Team of the Ottawa
Police will be Tuesday June 11, at 7 pm, at Lansdowne Park, Salon A. The
discussion will focus on G8 events in Ottawa, and more broadly, relations
between police, demonstrators, and the community.

All members of the community are invited.

Open Lines: Public Consultations G8
(Ottawa) - On Tuesday June 4th, the first of a series of four Public
Consultations will be held at 07:00 p.m. at the Assembly Hall of Lansdowne
Park.

With G8 rapidly upon us, the Ottawa Police Major Event Liaison Team will
open lines of communication with the public in order to create a working
partnership and a mutual understanding before, during and after the event.
The team members will meet the community every Tuesday night at 07:00 p.m.
starting tomorrow June 4th, then the 11th, 18th and 25th of June.

The Police invite Ottawa citizens to come and share their thoughts, their
fears and be part of the solutions. We are looking forward to meeting with
you.
