To Ottawa Quakers and sympathizers, also fellow activists. Luingam
Luithui, an elder from Nagaland (technically part of north east India
but inaccessible to tourists) attended the Quaker meeting last
Sunday, and this notice comes from Gianne Broughton. Sybil

The Naga Community and Friends in Ottawa warmly invite you to the
screening of the film "If God Be With Us". This film presents the 55 years
struggle of the Naga People for freedom. It takes you to the "Remote
inaccessible" ancestral land of the Nagas for a rare encounter with the
daily life of this little known people. Nagalim (Naga Country), home to
one of the participatory Democracies, is situated in the mountainous
Patkai Range-Naga Hills. It lies between China, India and Burma. With
India imposing ban on foreigners, Nagalim has been literally kept isolated
from the rest of the world since 1953. Please join us. Tea, Coffee and a
light meal will be served.

Date - 17th October, 2002 Time - 5.30 to 8.30 p.m.
