14th OTTAWA STORYTELLING FESTIVAL - SATURDAY NOV. 2 & SUNDAY NOV. 3
This year the Festival presents 50 top-rank tellers from the Ottawa
region and from across Canada. (Thank you, Canada Council)
* Full Festival Pass - $25 - or sessions priced separately below.
NATIONAL ARCHIVES / NATIONAL LIBRARY OF CANADA (395 Wellington)
* Saturday morning workshops for adults on storytelling lore and techniques
(10:00 - 12:00) - $15
* Saturday or Sunday afternoon (1:30 - 5:00): Small-group storytelling
sessions on a host of subjects, many of them specifically for children or
families - $10 (adults), $5 (children under 12)
* Saturday night concert at ST. ANDREW'S CHURCH (Wellington at Kent St.)
"Treasured Memories" (7:30 to 10:00) featuring top rank storytellers from
Ottawa and across Canada - $15 in advance, $20 at the door
Tickets available at the door, or in advance at Rasputin's Folk Cafe (696
Bronson) Collected Works Bookstore (1242 Wellington) The Ottawa Folklore
Centre (1111 Bank).
