LeBreton Flats Redevelopment Notice of a study on the construction of LeBreton 
Boulevard, project justification and alternative  solutions Municipal Class 
Environmental Assessment  

The National Capital Commission (NCC) would like to invite you to a public 
meeting regarding one of the environmental assessments of LeBreton Flats.  

The LeBreton Boulevard construction project, the project justification and the 
examination of alternative solutions are being planned under the Municipal 
Class Environmental Assessment process (Schedule C).  

This Municipal Class Environmental Assessment process addresses alternative 
routes for the proposed LeBreton Boulevard as well as its construction.  

The public open house will be held on TUESDAY, OCTOBER 29, 2002, from 7 pm to 
9:30 pm at the Tom Brown Hall, in the Tom Brown Arena, 141 Bayview Road, 
Ottawa, Ontario.  

Public input and comments are invited for incorporation into the planning and 
design of this project. The environmental assessment report for this project 
will be available on October 28, 2002.  

Copies of the documents will be available for viewing: at the National Capital 
Commission Library, 40 Elgin Street, 2nd floor, Ottawa, Ontario at the Ottawa 
Public Library, Main Branch, 120 Metcalfe Street, 3rd floor, Ottawa, Ontario at 
the Maison du Citoyen Library, 25 Laurier Street, Gatineau (Hull area), Quebec 
on the National Capital Commission's website

Le réaménagement des plaines LeBreton
Avis annonçant le début des études portant sur la construction du boulevard
LeBreton, la justification du projet et l'examen des solutions de rechange
(évaluation environnementale municipale de portée générale)

La Commission de la capitale nationale (CCN) vous invite à une rencontre 
publique portant sur l'une des évaluations environnementales sur les plaines 
LeBreton.  

Le projet de construction du boulevard LeBreton, la justification du projet et 
l'examen des solutions de rechange suivent le processus d'évaluation 
environnementale municipale de portée générale (annexe C).  

Cette évaluation environnementale municipale de portée générale traite des 
tracés de remplacement proposés pour le boulevard LeBreton ainsi que de sa 
construction.  

La rencontre aura lieu le MARDI 29 OCTOBRE 2002, de 19 h à 21 h 30, dans la 
salle Tom Brown, à l'aréna Tom Brown, situé au 141, chemin Bayview, à Ottawa 
(Ontario).  

Les commentaires du public seront les bienvenus et ils seront considérés lors 
de la planification et de la conception de ce projet. Des exemplaires de 
l'étude environnementale seront mis à la disposition du public le 28 octobre 
2002.
