Your support is needed for the Iraq Peace Team and the International
Solidarity Movement (nonviolent peace teams in Palestine).

Come to a NONVIOLENT TRAINING WORKSHOP on international peace teams
with Lyn Adamson (trainer for Peace Brigades International)

Room B442, Loeb, Carleton University
Sunday, 24 November, 2:00 - 6:00 PM

The workshop will provide an introduction to non-violence and peace
teams, detailed information on the Iraq Peace Team initiative and the
International Solidarity Movement, a role play about peace team work,
and conclude with a discussion of how to structure support for peace
teams in Ottawa.

This is for you, if you are:
· considering being part of a peace team in Iraq OR providing support
(logistical, media, etc) for Canadian teams here in Ottawa (see
www.iraqpeacteam.org for more details about the project
internationally);
· considering travelling to Palestine as part of the non-violent
International Solidarity Movement (www.palsolidarity.org) OR providing
support for those who are undertaking this work; and
· generally interested in peace teams and how to support them.
