Documentary Premiere

Living on the Edge... of Homelessness
Produced by Carleton University Students: Harry Price and Leanne Abbott

Wed. November 20 at 12:00
Carleton University
Dunton Tower Room 2203

You are invited to the premiere of a new video documentary! A student
project that turned into a CBC calibre twenty-five minute documentary.

Living on the Edge ... of Homelessness showcases the stores of individuals
and families who live on the edge of homelessness, combined with insightful
dialogue with policy-makers and concerned citizens. It investigates the
political, social, and economic conditions that have combined to bring so
many people in Ottawa to the brink of homelessness.

This powerful examination of today's housing crisis is the result of a
collaboration between students at Carleton University's School of Social
Work and Family Services a la famille Ottawa.

It is an excellent educational and organizing tool available for screening
in classes or the larger community.
