[OPIRG-EVENTS] Talk on Zimbabwe at Carleton

A talk, "Farm Workers in Zimbabwe: The Cultural Politics of the
Continuing Crisis" by Blair Rutherford, Dept. of Sociology &
Anthropology, will be given Tuesday November 26, 2002 at
Carleton University in Loeb A720 from 10:00-12:00. It is sponsored by
the African Studies Committee and the Department of Sociology &
Anthropology.

Blair Rutherford is an anthropologist who has carried out field and 
historical research on farm workers in Zimbabwe since 1992. He is the 
author of _Working on the Margins: Black Workers, White Farmers in 
Post-colonial Zimbabwe_ (London: Zed Books and Harare: Weaver Press).
