The evening will begin at 8 PM with a screening of the film "A Fight
Against Time", directed by Ed Bianchi. This 25 minute film documents
the Lubicon Cree land rights struggle and is a gripping account, in
their own words, of the Lubicon peoples' battle to survive as a
community. Filmmaker Ed Bianchi will be on hand to answer questions.

Outaouais Lubicon Solidarity (OLS) is beginning a new campaign which
will use Jean Chrétien's remaining months in office (until March
2004), to remind him of the letter that he wrote as Opposition Leader
in 1993, that "time is wasting" for the Lubicon people. The campaign
will use anniversaries of major events in the Lubicons' struggle as
occasions to remind Canadians and their government of this history -
with a view towards concluding a just agreement with the Lubicons by
the time Chrétien leaves office.
