[OPIRG-EVENTS] David Rovicks and food and event AFTER Sat Anti-war march




There will be an event on after the Ottawa march
against the war on Iraq.  The event will start as a
gathering place for marchers. 

There will be hot food and music by David Rovics while
everyone warms up and after there will be a brief
meeting/overview of anti-war campaigns and events in
Ottawa and then smaller gatherings for people who want
to support specific projects to stop the war on Iraqis
that are happening locally in the next few months.
There are a lot of things going on! Please come and
find out more and meet each other – and listen to
great music and eat great food!!!! 

3:30pm January 18th – AT University of Ottawa –
Lamoureux Building Room (122)

At the point where the march gets to the Mackenzie
street bridge, some people will go right to the
university and some will go to support the SPAT team
at the Department of War, and then to the University
after all officials planning the war have been
arrested and given due process. So the 122 Lamoureux
at the University of Ottawa will be a gathering place
where people will come in at different times and warm
up from the cold. There will be food and music. 

3:30 - 4:00 pm  
•	Informal gathering, food will be provided by the
Garden Spot 4:00pm - 4:20  
•	A few songs by David Rovics
4:30 General Meeting starts
5:00 - ....Break up into the following smaller groups
- Iraq Peace Team workshop, Non-Violent Direct Action
(Feb 14) workshop, MP lobbying campaign (Jan 20-24)
and possibly the volunteer weapons Inspectors program
heading to the states Feb 22ish
