Saturday, February 15
 The Ottawa march to the U.S. Embassy will start in
Hull.
Assemble at:
1:30 pm in Hull, corner of Maisonneuve and
Saint-Laurent (Parking lot of the SAQ)
2:00 pm in Ottawa, corner of Sussex and Murray, in
front of the Art Gallery to join the march coming from
Hull

JOURNÉE INTERNATIONALE CONTRE LA GUERRE EN IRAK

MANIFESTATION LE SAMEDI 15 FÉVRIER À OTTAWA-HULL

NON À LA GUERRE DE BUSH !!
 
Le Rassemblement Outaouais contre la guerre (ROCG)
invite tous les citoyennes et citoyens de la région de
la capitale nationale à manifester dans Hull-Ottawa
dans le cadre de la  Journée mondiale contre la guerre
en Irak.
 Des manifestations analogues se tiennent sur tous les
continents. En Europe, des manifestations similaires
se tiendront dans toutes les capitales nationales le
15 février. Des manifestations sont aussi prévues en
Égypte, en Palestine, au Pakistan, en Thaïlande, en
Turquie, aux Philippines. De nombreuses manifestations
auront également lieu aux États-Unis. Au Canada, des
manifestations, des marches et des actions auront lieu
dans quarante villes. On estime que 50 millions de
personnes dans le monde manifesteront pour la paix le
15 février 2003. 
 À Ottawa, la capitale canadienne, la manifestation
partira de Hull pour se rendre à l’ambassade des
États-Unis. 
 Le rassemblement aura lieu à 13h30 au coin du Blv.
Maisonneuve et St-Laurent, (stationnement de la
SAQ-Dépôt). La manifestation se dirigera ensuite vers
Ottawa, circulera dans les rues du marché By et fera
le tour de l’ambassade américaine. 
 Un départ aura également lieu à partir d’Ottawa : les
gens se rassembleront à 14h en face du Musée des
Beaux-Arts, à l’angle de Murray et Sussex et
attendront le cortège en provenance de Hull. 
 Les manifestants viendront signifier leur profonde
indignation contre le projet américain d’agression
militaire sur le peuple irakien et viendront exiger du
gouvernement canadien de ne point participer,
directement ou indirectement, aux hostilités
militaires, que cela soit approuvé ou non par le
conseil de sécurité de l’ONU. 
 Le ROCG est un rassemblement de militants pour la
paix de la région de l’Outaouais.

INTERNATIONAL DAY AGAINST WAR IN IRAQ

DEMONSTRATION SATURDAY FEBRUARY 15 IN OTTAWA-HULL

NO TO BUSH’ WAR!
 The Rassemblement Outaouais contre la guerre (ROCG)
invites all residents of the National Capital Region
to demonstrate in Hull-Ottawa as part of the
International Day of Action against War in Iraq.
 Similar demonstrations are being held on every
continents. In Europe, on February 15, demonstrations
will take place in all the national capital cities.
Demonstrations are also planned in Egypt, Palestine,
Pakistan, Thailand, Turkey, and the Phillippines. Many
demonstrations will take place in the Unites States.
In Canada, demonstrations, marches and actions will
take place in more than 40 cities across the country.
An estimation of 50 million people in the world will
be demonstrating for peace on February 15.
 In Ottawa, the national capital, the demonstration
will leave Hull and will head to the U.S. Embassy.   
There will be two gathering points: 
The first gathering point is at 1:30 p.m. corner
Maisonneuve and St. Laurent in Hull (SAQ parking lot).
The second gathering point is at 2:00 p.m. National
Arts Gallery corner Sussex and Murray . 
 The contingent leaving from Hull will cross the
Alexandra bridge and get to Ottawa, towards the second
gathering point. From there, the demonstration will
proceed in the street of the Byward Market and go
around the U.S. embassy.
 The participants will express their deep indignation
toward the U.S. plan of military aggression against
the Iraqi people et demand that the Canadian
government does not participate, directly or
indirectly, to military actions with the approval of
the UN or not.
 The ROCG in composed of peace activists from the
Outaouais region.
