April's topics: - Gatineau "Park"? Not really!
Canada's Parliament overlooks one of the most biologically diverse wild
places in our land---1,000 species of plants, 236 species of birds and
animals and 118 rare or endangered species. Recently, the NCC has proposed
new road development such as Laramée-McConnell connection and Mackenzie
King Estate access road, along with new housing development inside the
park. Find out more!

- Followed by: Photography in Gatineau Park/Ken Buck
Ken Buck has been a resident of Chelsea since 1969. For ten years (1970 -
1980) he worked with Bill Mason on several of Mason's films as
cinematographer and editor. For this evening's show he has put together
pictures of the park taken over the last 30 years. The subject matter will
be the park, and the emphsis will be on how to take interesting pictures in
the park. Included in the show will be some of Mason's medium format slides
transferred on to 35mm slides.
