The Committee for Non-Status Algerians are in Ottawa and they are currently
occupying the office of Citizenship and Immigration (CIC) Minister Denis
Coderre.

There are about 20 Algerians and supporters from Montreal at Laurier and
Kent, Jean Edmonds Towers, the home of CIC. Approximately 10 people have
make it up to the office and are NOT MOVING!!

The Non-Status Algerian community in Canada is facing deportation en masse,
due to the lifting of a moratorium on removals to Algeria. They are in
Ottawa today to demand a return to the moratorium and a halt to all
deportations!

Direct Action Casework Ottawa supports this action and encourages all who
