Ontario Minister Fails to Respect Environmental Bill of Rights

July 8, 2003
OTTAWA -- The Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society (CPAWS) today lodged
a complaint about Natural Resources Minister Jerry Ouellette's failure
to respect his obligations under the Environmental Bill of Rights (EBR).
The letter, also sent to Environmental Commissioner of Ontario Gord
Miller and federal Environment Minister David Anderson, goes on to say
that Ontario is failing to act to adequately protect a species at risk,
the Eastern wolf.
