Re: NIST involvement in PKI



Bill,

        the SPKI certificate format is not currently being used by any of
the companies listed in the NIST announcement.  However, thank you for
forwarding that announcement to the SPKI list.  As SPKI adoption spreads, we
will need to see how we fit in with the NIST-sponsored effort and it is
probably good to start early and monitor the NIST effort.
