The misunderstanding which leads some to worry about "auth-growth" may have
been engendered by the example (15), where the intersection of

       (* reorder-insert (for socks shirt pants))
with
       (for tie pants socks belt shirt)

resolved to the latter.  I am a bit mystified myself.
