Sorry for the huge delay between drafts. This one has substantial
changes. (Older copies are kept at the ftp address above, if
someone wants to compare.)
This draft includes full *-form tag algebra (thanks to Ron Rivest,
with a full set of rules I added), k-of-n subjects (thanks to Tatu,
with reduction logic I added), firmly defined canonical forms,
full BNF -- and real examples which people can verify (signatures
and hashes).
In the process, I wrote some code to make these examples. As soon as
I'm sure it's presentable, I will put it up for ftp. It uses
rsaref, so anyone should be able to get it running. I have been
assured by NSA Z03 that there is no problem with its export.
A number of different implementations of 5-tuple reduction are
in the works. Some will be put up for ftp -- if not made into
an internet-draft. Mine isn't in a position to release yet.
