PR#428061 and PR#428429 deals with the fact that most team captains were not assigned passwords and did not know how to access the results for their organizations.
The origin of this problem is two fold:
It is recommended that a future version of the software have two additional registration interfaces: one for city coordinators, and one for team captains. Both interfaces would be secure (https) web page. Authentication would be userid/password based with a way to get the password mailed back if forgotten. And, an optional way to use cookies to maintain authorization of the individual.
All information that is available would be provided in one place. The city coordinator interface would permit a view of all team captain pages as well. There would be functions to generate lists of non-participants (people who registered but did not enter distance information) and a way to nag them via email, and a spreadsheet upload function.
