Clearly there is a difference between a one-time fee and
a per-copy fee, which is how DOS is sold.
This nit aside, I respect your views, and will present them
to management/legal here. They are coming (all of them) to
the BOF that I mentioned, and so everyone can present their
concerns/issues at the BOF.
I will do whatever I can to minimize the WG concerns regarding
patents/licenses/encumberances, and will promote the solution
inside Sun that the WG is most comfortable with.
Having said this, I really would prefer to have this discussion
at the BOF and not here.
