Don't eliminate AH
I don't usually post to this list as I'm in marketing (I know that most of
you will now delete this ;-) ), but I thought it was important to point out
that we really need the IPSec protocol to become a finished standard ASAP.
We have many real customers who want to deploy this today and the more
changes that are made, the longer it will take to get working code in
place. Yes, the protocol may not be perfect, but we can live with that and
make the proper minor adjustments during the interoperability trials. If we
don't continue moving forward toward standardization, then IPSec may become
irrelevent as the market passes it by.
Please, please STOP MAKING CHANGES that are not necessary to make the
protocol work.
