Unless there's something about FreeBSD preventing it, you should certainly
be able to do this.  In fact, I'm using IPSec (tunneling and encapsulation)
between two PCs with DHCP right now.  I'm testing our (Cryptek's) next
release of the network management/monitoring software, which requires a test
rig with two PCs, each protected with DiamondLINK boxes.  One of the PCs is
the very one I'm typing this on.  B-)

Then again, I'm pretty new to IPSec (and for that matter, computer security
in general), so for all I know, it may be some special feature of our
software.
