GUEST SPEAKER
Khenpo Tsewang Gyatso is a renowned Tibetan Buddhist Lama and scholar. He
teaches at the largest Nyingma monastic college under His Holiness Penor
Rinpoche who is the head of the Nyingma School of Tibetan Buddhism (H.H. the
Dalai Lama is head of the Gelug School).  Khenpo Tsewang Gyatso teaches
widely in North America and Asia. He is coming from India to give this talk.
His talk is entitled "BUDDHISM IN THE WEST: Tibetan Reincarnations in North
America."   He will explain what it means to be recognized as a "Tulku" or
reincarnated Lama.

SLIDES AND REPORT
There will be a brief report with slides to illustrate the use to which the
money O.F.T. raises is put.

AUCTIONEERS:    Sue Lumsden and Dave Smith

There will be sales tables and both live and silent auctions.

A group of award-winning Tibetan children will demonstrate Tibetan folk
dance.

THE OTTAWA FRIENDS OF TIBET is a non-profit organization that raises funds
to support a number of Tibetan refugee programs, especially the education
and medical treatment of Tibetan refugee children.

Cost $30 per person
