Walk a Child to School

Subject: Parkwood Hills Public School Event
Parkwood Hills Public Shcool is having a Walk a Child to School Day
event on October 6, rain or shine. Meeting time at 7:45am at Sir
Winston Churchill on Meadowlands Drive. Walk to Parkwood Hills School
for media event and presentation at 8:15am.
Walk a Child to School Day is a Canada-wide event promoting the health,
safety and environmental benefits of walking, cycling or in-line skating
to and from school.
Walk a Child to School Day events in the Ottawa-Carleton region are part
of Plan-it Safe's Don't Use Your Brains for Brakes initiative and Go for
Green's national Active and Safe Routes to School program.
Refreshments are provided after the presentations. RSVP: Frances
