GE-Free listserv
Genetically engineered (GE) ingredients can be found in about 60%
of processed foods available in Canada and 42 GE crops are currently
licenced for commercial use by the federal government. To help
increase awareness about the potential health and environmental
consequences of genetically engineered crops, Greenpeace Canada
has begun a new mailing list bulletin called "GEfree". This public
bulletin will be issued every two weeks to provide information and
updates for action-oriented community events. To subscribe to the
list, send an e-mail to majordomo@list.web.net with the subject line
blank and "subscribe gefree-l" in the body.
