[OPIRG-EVENTS] Seeds of Hope organic gardening series, Feb 13.

WEDNESDAY, FEB 13, 7-9:30P -  SEEDS OF HOPE, a 6 week hands-on
ecological gardening course, begins at Bethany Baptist Church, 382
Centrepointe Dr W, Nepean/Ottawa,  sponsored by Befriending The Earth.
(morning group a possibility with sufficient registration).  How to grow
own fine flowers and fabulous veggies organically. Topics includes
seeds, soil/compost, sun/space. bed preparation, permaculture, water
conservation, and  growing great food without pesticides. Hands-on work
includes seed starting, transplanting, paper pot-making.
Facilitators: Gillian Boyd, Isobel McGregor and local organic growers.
Donation: $40 or what you can afford (to cover seeds, soil, CGN Garden
Guide, organic snacks). An multi-sense learning experience!  to register
