March against continued state terrorism in Afghanistan and Palestine
and the potential escalation in the assaults on Iraq.

This week's March: 

An Aggressive Expansion of the U.S. "War on Terrorism" :
The Phillipines 

When? The march starts at 12:00 on Saturday April 27
Where? Meet at the corner of York and Sussex
Why? To raise public awareness about all of the manifestations of the "War on
terrorism".
             State repression from Manila with U.S. forces and training.  
The nature of U.S. military presence now in Mindanao (The Phillipines) becomes
most clear in the light of Bush's pronouncement: "They are for combat and did
not come here only to conduct exercises". U.S. charge d'affairs, Robert Fitts,
also said in yesterday's ceremony for the launching of Balikatan 02-1 that 
this
will be followed by Balikatan 02-2 and successive Balikatans during the whole
year and that the ultimate objective of this is to wipe out the Abu Sayyaf and
"terrorism" in the country. 

        The object of this march is to distribute information to the public,
share 
        resources and information with each other, stand in defiance and 
outrage
