Justice pour Mohamed Harkat! Abolition du certificat
de securité! Abolition des procès secrets!
Marche pour la justice et l'abolition du certificat de
sécurité.
Samedi 19 juillet 2003 à 19h00

Rassemblement devant les bureaux du Service canadien
de renseignement de sécurité.
Marche jusqu’au centre de détention d’Ottawa sur le
chemin Innes.
Apportez vos bannières, pancartes et de quoi faire du
bruit!
Mohamed Harkat est en prison depuis le 10 décembre
2002 sans qu’aucune accusation n’ait été portée contre
lui, en vertu d’un certificat de sécurité signé par le
ministre de la Citoyenneté et de l'Immigration, Denis
Coderre et le solliciteur général du Canada, Wayne
Easter. Mohamed est menacé d'expulsion en Algérie où
il pourrait être torturé et même tué.
Pour quelle raison? Il n’a pas le droit de le savoir.
C’est la conception de notre gouvernement de la
«sécurité nationale».
Mohamed n’est pas la seule personne a avoir été ciblé
par le gouvernement sous prétexte de sécurité
nationale. Le 19 juillet nous marcherons en solidarité
avec tous ceux qui ont été victimes du certificat
de sécurité, injuste et antidémocratique, plus
particulièrement avec:
Hassan Almrei (Oct. 2001)
Muhammad Mahjoub (June 2000)
Mahmoud Jaballah (Aug. 2001)
Adil Charkaoui (May 2003)
Et avec Mansour Ahani et Mourad Iklef, qui ont tous
deux disparu après avoir été déportés en vertu du
certificat de sécurité.
Cette marche pour la justice est l’expression publique
de la résistance contre la tentative de l’État
d’effacer les droits humains de Mohamed Harket, de sa
conjointe et de sa famille et de toute la communauté.
En marchant du SCRC jusqu’à la prison où Mohamed est
incarcéré, nous montrerons les liens directs qui
existent entre l’organisation qui existe pour jeter
les gens en prison et le lieu où ils sont détenus en
vertu de «preuves secrètes» et même sans aucune
preuve.
Le procès de Mohamed Harkat:
Appuyez Mohamed lors de son procès à la fin juillet.
Le procès est ouvert au public, soyez présent aussi
longtemps que vous le pourrez.

Mohamed Harkat has been in jail since December 10th,
2002 without any charges under a Security Certificate
signed by Minister of Citizenship and Immigration
Denis Coderre and Solicitor General Wayne Easter.
Mohamed faces deportation to Algeria where he could be
tortured and killed. For what? He is not allowed to
know. This is our government's racist idea
of 'national security'.
Mohamed is just one of the many individuals targeted
by racist governmentdepartments under the guise of
national security. On July 19th, we will march in
solidarity with all those victimized by the unjust and
anti-democratic Security Certificate. In particular,
we walk in solidarity with:
Hassan Almrei (Oct. 2001)
Muhammad Mahjoub (June 2000)
Mahmoud Jaballah (Aug. 2001)
Adil Charkaoui (May 2003)
and with Mansour Ahani and Mourad Iklef, both of who
have disappeared since being deported under Security
Certificates.
This walk for justice is a public expression of
resistance to the nation state and its attempt to
erase the human rights of Mohamed Harkat, his wife and
family, and that of the community at large. By walking
from CSIS to the jail where he is incarcerated, we
will make a direct link between the organization
which makes a living throwing people behind bars and
the place where they are held on secret evidence or no
evidence at all.

The trial will
be open to the public, so come for as long as you are
able.
