Discussion sur les projets C-36, C-35 et C-42
(Loi omnibus pour combattre le terrorisme)

Le 28 novembre 2001, la Chambre des communes a passé
en troisième lecture le projet de loi C-36. Le
lendemain, elle en adoptait à toute vapeur deux
autres, C-35 et C-42, qualifiés d'anti-terroristes.
Le 28 novembre, réunis en assemblée publique à Hull,
des citoyennes et citoyens ont exprimé leurs
inquiétudes et leur opposition au projet de loi C-36.
Auparavant, dans l'après-midi, sur la Colline
parlementaire la Flamme centenaire a été éteinte pour
montrer l'extinction de nos droits.
C'est pourquoi nous vous invitons à une deuxième
réunion publique pour discuter des lois C-36, C-35 et
C-42.

Discussion on the Bills C-36, C-35 and C-42
(Omnibus bill to fight terrorism)

On November 28, 2001, the House of Commons voted in
third reading the Bill C-36. The day after, it
precipitated the adoption of Bills C-35 and C-43,
called anti-terrorist Bills.
Gathered in a public meeting in Hull on November 28,
many citizens have expressed their concern and their
opposition to Bill C-36. During that afternoon, on the
Parliament Hill, the Centennial flame was smothered in
order to demonstrate the extinction of our rights.
This is why we are inviting you to a second public
meeting to discuss Bills C-36, C-35 and C-42
